Obituary

Angelo “Harry” Boutisikaris, 85, of Edison, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Graveside Service at Fairview Cemetery, 1100 East Broad Street, Westfield on Wednesday, March 6, at 10:00 am.

Harry was born and raised in Newark. He attended Central High School and Seton Hall University. He was a graduate of the Newark Police Academy and The Berg School of Real Estate.

Harry joined the Newark Police Force in 1956 and served the Community for over 33 years, earning several certificates of award and commendations for his actions including; a Medal of Merit and one for Excellent Police Duty, before retiring as a Sergeant in 1990. Following his retirement, he became a licensed New Jersey Private Investigator and was an active licensed New Jersey Real Estate Associate.

Harry was a retired member of the Superior Officer Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, the P.B.A. and the Order of Ahepa-Eureka Chapter 52 of Newark.

Harry is survived by his devoted sons, Scott Boutsikaris and his wife Elia and Nickolas Boutsikaris and his dear sister Martha Merra.
