On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Francis D. Larkins, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather from Clark passed away after a short illness at age 88 in Jupiter, FL where he spent his winters alongside his wife of 61 years.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark, on Monday, February 11 from 4 - 8 pm. The Funeral begins at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00 am, thence to St. Agnes Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 am. Final Disposition will be private.
“Frank” as he liked to be called was employed by PSE&G as a Chief Lineman and served as President of Local 1134 in Elizabeth. Frank was a proud American Veteran who served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marie Svabik Larkins, his son, Kevin Larkins and his wife Bridgette, his daughters Sharon Daley and her husband Tim, Nancy Lockwood and her husband Craig and Lisa Kaiser and her husband Rob. Frank also had 12 grandchildren, Melissa Engel, Magen Oliviera, Samantha Larkins, Ryan Lockwood, Jessica Terry, Kristen Daley, Courtney Lockwood, Timothy Daley, Anthony Trani, Nicholas Trani, Kevin Larkins, Alexa Trani and three great grandchildren Jordan Oliviera, Brielle Oliviera and Kaleigh Daley who loved him dearly.
Frank loved the Yankees and the Giants. Frank was loved not only by his family but also many people he met and enjoyed lasting lifelong friendships.
