Pauline R. Petto, 88, of Colonia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral from the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark, on Thursday, January 4 at 8:30 am, then to St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, from 4 - 8 pm.
Mrs. Petto was born in Brooklyn to Paul and Ann Encampo. She grew up in Jersey City and attended Lincoln High School. She lived in Iselin,Toms River and then Englishtown, prior to moving to Colonia 2 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. John Vianney Church and a devoted member of their Rosary Society.
Mrs. Petto was an Inside Sales Rep HVAC for L & H Plumbing (Ferguson Ent.) of Lakewood from 1987 to 1999. It was a job she loved and where she made many friends.
Mrs. Petto was a member of The Age of Elegance: New Jersey Cameo Club, where she participated in the Ms. New Jersey Senior America Pageant 2010. She was a member of the Stoke Steppers, a Tap Dance Group of mostly seniors who performed with love in their hearts at nursing homes, etc. She was also installed on March 27, 2012 as President of the Sons of Italy, Frank Sinatra Lodge 2621 of Marlboro.
Mrs. Petto was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Petto. She is survived by her devoted children, Frank Petto and his fiance Cyndy Lawson, Jean Fruzzetti and her husband Moreno, Paul Petto and his wife Mary and Louis Petto and his wife Claudia; her cherished grandchildren, Daniella Perentin and her husband Mike, Marco Fruzzetti and his wife Justine, Christopher Petto and his fiance Lindsey, Daniel Petto, Tova Petto and Tali Petto; her great grandchildren, Alessio, Valentina and Massimo Perentin and Luca and London Fruzzetti; her loving sisters, Ann Lunanuova and her husband Vic, Rose Houmis, Marie Fabiano and Josephine Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends and her lifelong friend, Sonny D'Arco.
