John Huska, 92, of Clark, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 28, 2017.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, May 3 from 7 - 9 pm at Walter Johnson Funeral Home.

Mr. Huska was born in Newark to Michael and Mary (Dwosko) Huska. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the Marine Corp. during WWII. He saw action in Okinawa and Guadalcanal. Mr. Huska was a Marine Corp. sharp shooter and field artillery crewman. He served on the USS Crescent City. He was a resident of Clark for 63 years.

Mr. Huska was a Tool & Die Maker at Centaur Tool & Die of Springfield for many years, retiring in 1989. He was an avid bowler for many years, belonging to three leagues at Clark Lanes.

Mr. Huska was predeceased by his beloved wife, Virginia (Colantuono) Huska. He is survived by his devoted children, Sheila Vett and her husband Anthony, Valerie Hall and her husband Robert and John G. Huska and his cherished grandchildren, Alexandra Hall and Gregory Huska.
