Obituary

Carl S. Frank, age 97, a resident of Clark, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2018.

Carl served his country as a Sgt. in the US Army during WWII. He was a tool and die maker at Singer Manufacturing, as well as their staff photographer. He was also an admired wedding photographer for over 40 years.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mildred H. Frank; his two sons, Kim C. Frank of Lavallette and Russell A. Frank of South Plainfield; his two daughters Diane M. Metz of Cranford and Susan M. Bruno of Scotch Plains. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his beloved cat, Sandy.

Carl’s love of airplanes was only trumped by his love for his family. His aerial photography is featured at the Clark Bar for all to enjoy. We wish him fair winds and godspeed on his last flight.

The family is having a private memorial service in the upcoming weeks.
