Madeline Stowasky, 99, of Bridgewater, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark on Tuesday, January 29 from 4 - 8 pm. The Funeral begins at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:00 am, thence to St. Helen’s Church, Westfield, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Mrs. Stowasky was born in Elizabeth to Fillippo and Francesca (Baldi) Greco. She lived in Irvington, then Bedminister for 22 years, prior to moving to Bridgewater 2 years ago.
Mrs. Stowasky was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph J. Stowasky; son-in-law Joseph Tobia; sisters, Frances Schifano and Sally Volanti and brother Joseph Greco. She is survived by her devoted children, Joseph Stowasky and his wife Suzanne and Joan Tobia; her cherished grandchildren, JoAnn, Lori, Joseph, Alison, Meredith and Elizabeth; 7 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
